The nature and recreation area 't Zand is located to the northwest of the village of Alphen and borders the natural areas Chaamse Bossen and Alphense Bergen. The name 't Zand is not coincidental: for centuries there was an extensive sand drift here, as in many places in Brabant. Due to sand extraction, a water pond has been created where you can swim, float or sunbathe to your heart's content. The children can have fun all day in or around the water. Ultimate enjoyment!
