1. Grote Kerk Breda
Upon entering the Grote Kerk Breda, you'll be greeted by a unique experience. The floor is covered with a reddish-orange material featuring cut-outs for the gravestones. This material affects your senses. The light takes on colour, and sound is muffled. The solo exhibition Encounters by Rosângela Rennó takes over the monumental interior of the church. She addresses themes related to colonialism, history, and identity.

2. Carré Chassé
Carré Chassé is the festival heart of BredaPhoto 2024. Here you can find the work of 23 artists in one location, the BredaPhoto shop and bookshop, and enjoy coffee and a sandwich from CuliNice. Featuring artists such as Thana Faroq, Sakir Khader, Giany Kraan (GIGI), and Mónica Alcázar-Duarte. There is also a cinema at this location, where five short films are screened daily.

3. Project Space Chassé
A diverse group of 22 residents of Breda, led by theatre maker Adelheid Roosen and artist Leendert Vooice, sought connection with 'the other' in pairs during the participatory project through the eyes of the Other. The result of these encounters is an installation featuring photography and video that can be seen at Projectruimte Chassé.

4. StadsGalerij
At StadsGalerij, you can see a group exhibition by Giya Makondo-Wills, Hanna Hrabarska, Kevin Osepa, Marwan Magroun, Nael Quraishi, Sebastian Koudijzer & Tyler Koudijzer, and Thana Faroq. This group exhibition portrays the stories of the first generation of migrants, focusing on the formation of a new identity and the creation of a home for oneself.

5. Galerie Ecker
In Galerie Ecker you can see photography by Claudia Gordillo. In the mid-1980s to early 1990s, she undertook several trips as a war correspondent to the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. At that time, the revolution was in full swing and the Contra War began. Gordillo portrayed life in la Costa and created a report of places and people during a crucial period in the history of Latin America.

6. 't Zoet
At the outdoor location 't Zoet, you can see works by various artists and regularly enjoy a true festival atmosphere thanks to the live music being organised here. You will see works by Mounir Raji, who pays tribute to Morocco with Dreamland, reflecting on his experiences during the summers he spent there. On the impressive silo, you can view works by internationally renowned photographer Omar Victor Diop and Breda talent Joost Rutten.
Note: Stadspark 't Zoet is freely accessible, featuring several artists' works, and a programme is organised during BredaPhoto. For 't Zoet Expo, which consists of the impressive silo and other exhibitions, a ticket is required.

7. Backer + Rueb hall
'If society does not offer a home, is there perhaps a place in the landscape for the displaced?' Let Tina Farifteh take you on her quest for a new home in Sexbierum, a Frisian village by the Seedyk. Immerse yourself for 24 minutes in an impressive total experience with video and light art in the Backer + Rueb hall. Outside, enjoy the enchanting images of Ioana Cîrlig, who captures fleeting moments and explores the relationship between humans and nature in traditional Romanian communities.
