BredaPhoto Festival 2026

From 11 September to 25 October 2026, BredaPhoto Festival 2026 will transform the city of Breda into a vast stage for photography and video art. For more than seven weeks, leading international photographers will showcase their vision of the theme Our Songs Came Through, exploring comfort and resilience, alongside emerging talents.

These are the things you need to know before planning your visit to BredaPhoto.

  1. The festival takes place from 11 September to 25 October 2026, and the locations are generally open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. 

  2. There are nine unique locations where you can admire work by a huge number of photographers. View all locations and photographers here.

  4. With the special BredaPhoto route, we combine BredaPhoto locations with great hotspots. 

  5. A ticket is required for most exhibition locations. There are season tickets for the entire period, day tickets and afternoon tickets.

Discover the highlights of BredaPhoto 2026

This year, you can visit BredaPhoto at 9 unique locations in Breda. Below is a list of all the locations, from Carré Chassé to Chassépark. BredaPhoto route and city walk

This BredaPhoto route connects all BredaPhoto locations with cool hotspots, turning your festival visit into a complete day or weekend. Each hotspot has put together a special package especially for BredaPhoto, so it’s well worth taking a look. The route will be available in various formats in due course. 

  1. Download the Explore Breda app, follow the route and combine it, for example, with some special murals.

  2. View or download the route via the route page on the website of explorebreda.com 

  3. Pick up the route booklet or map at the Explore Breda Store or other BredaPhoto locations.

All about the BredaPhoto tickets

You need a ticket for most of the BredaPhoto exhibitions.

What kinds of tickets are available?

  • Passe-Partout: valid for all exhibitions throughout the entire BredaPhoto period
    - €49.50
    - €32.50 (Early Bird, on sale through September 10)

  • Day tickets (also available as a gift ticket)
    - €21.50
    - Ages 18–25: €12.50
    - Under 18: free
    - CJP: €10.00
    - BredaPas: free

  • Afternoon Ticket, valid from 2:00 PM
    - €15.00
