Open walk-in - Makersbase

Makersbase is the creative workshop of Breda with a "Pay What You Want" principle. Here you can develop your creative, technical or industrial ideas using modern machines like a laser cutter, vinyl plotter or 3D printer. Or of course a combination of these! You can also work with the Micro:bit, Arduino and Scratch. No subscription, membership or thick wallet required.

Make your own 3D statue, prototype, test setup, keychain, animation, t-shirt or button, or experiment to your heart's content. Everyone is welcome with a school project, hobby, side project, repair or just out of curiosity during the opening hours of Bibliotheek Breda Centrum. Our maker coaches are ready to help! An appointment or subscription is not necessary; only the costs for materials will be charged. You completely determine the value of machine use and knowledge.

Still not sure what you want to create? Feel free to drop by during the open drop-in hours and let yourself be inspired by the knowledge, experiences and creations of others. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are central. At these times, there will always be a maker coach present to provide support.
