When you say 'Hemelvaart' in Breda, you are referring to 'Jazz Festival', which has become an integral part of Breda after more than fifty editions. Local and international artists and a quarter of a million visitors from all around the globe find our welcoming city every year. Old school, modern, or related styles; Breda Jazz Festival offers it all. 

Most concerts at the Breda Jazz Festival are free to attend. For a number of indoor concerts, tickets are required. The pre-sale for these begins on Easter Monday, 21 April. 

The Breda Jazz Festival will take place in 2025 from 29 May to 1 June. The programme has not yet been announced, but as soon as we know more, you can read that on this page!
