A market full of terraces in the centre of Breda: De Grote Markt. Enjoy a bite to eat and a drink at one of the many different restaurants and cafés here. At 't Hart and Zeezicht, you can sit comfortably under the trees in the shade, but at places like Mr. Moos, you have a view of De Grote Kerk of Breda and can enjoy the sun. As a side street to the Grote Markt, it's easy to skip St. Janstraat. Which is a shame because it is getting cosier all the time. In the vicinity of Havermarkt, you are quickly amidst nightlife, so if you want to have a drink before going out, then Havermarkt is the ideal place.
Enjoy yourself at De Haven! Drifting in a boat, strolling around or simply enjoying a drink at one of the many hotspots at De Haven. There is always something to do here! Another nice spot by the water is the terrace at De Botanist, where you can sit back and relax while overlooking the water.
It feels like a small Amsterdam when you are in Ginneken. Enjoy the bustling atmosphere and a refreshing drink on the terrace of Moeke or Boerke Verschuren, or take a stroll down Ginnekenweg to Oncle Jean or Café Koosie.
BAAI is a trendy spot by the water at the Markkade. You can enjoy a drink there in a delightful festival atmosphere, but you can also reserve a fully catered drinks or dinner. If you're with a group, this is also your starting point for a nice boat trip along the Breda canal.
