Restaurant Zuyd opened its doors on October 6th of 2009 and is owned by the entrepreneurial couple Stefan Dirkx and Wendy Dirkx-Michielsen. This beautiful shopping street with luxurious shops forms the connection between cosy Ginneken and the centre of Breda. The restaurant has a modern classic interior and accommodates approx. 30 persons. The 8-metre-long silver couch is a real eye catcher. During the summer months there is room on the terrace for 32 persons.  

In the semi-open kitchen, Stefan Dirkx and the kitchen staff process daily fresh ingredients into creative and refined dishes. Stefan has gained his vast experience at various (star) businesses across the country. His style of cooking is fundamentally French, but sees many worldly influences. The menu consists of a surprise menu of 4 to 7 courses which you can complement with various specials or a wine selection.

The team of hostesses and hosts led by Wendy will ensure a casual and relaxed atmosphere for you to enjoy a delicious lunch or culinary evening out…at Zuyd restaurant, of course!
