The Zaartpark is a walking park in the valley of the Aa or Weerijs. It is one of the most natural and nature-rich parks in Breda. Plants and animals can reach the city and the area north of the city from the Mastbos and the watershed of the Aa or Weerijs through this park, and vice versa. The valley here is an ecological corridor and at the same time a buffer zone between the city and the rural environment.
