Sint Antonius Kathedraal
The Sint Antonius Kathedraal is the cathedral church of the diocese of Breda.
In the St. Janstraat, front right, stands the Sint Antonius Kathedraal, a richly executed water state church. In 1836, this was the first Catholic church that, after the period of clandestine churches, was officially allowed to be built. It was also the first episcopal church of the new diocese of Breda.
In 2001, after an absence of 32 years, the seat of the Bishop of Breda returned to the Sint Antonius Kathedraal. It regained its cathedral status.
