MOYA Young Art was born from the dream of bringing change to the art world and putting young art on the map. In MOYA you will find a variety of works. And MOYA is for everyone. Diversity is central, both in the art and in its creators. From painting, sculpture and textile art to photography and digital art. For the artist, it is much more than an exhibition space.

Mission of MOYA
MOYA supports the artist in their career; MOYA motivates, stimulates, activates and facilitates. MOYA is the springboard that gives the artist the opportunity to enter the art world. Transparency, an open-door policy, and innovation are the characteristics of MOYA.

Galvanitas factory
MOYA is located in the unique setting of the former Galvanitas factory in Oosterhout, near Breda (established in 1934). The characteristic factory halls, covering over 1800m2, with concrete vaults as roofs, are inspired by aircraft hangars. The large openings in the roof allow for natural daylight. The façades of concrete filled with steel frames and large warehouse doors contribute to the industrial character. Galvanitas has played an important role in the Oosterhout manufacturing industry and thus in the Oosterhout community. A conscious decision for MOYA to establish itself here.

The Houthallen
Visitors are welcomed in the former timber halls, which are also the hang-out spot to enjoy a locally brewed beer, have a bite to eat, or simply to have lunch or drinks and experience the unique atmosphere of the Galvanitas factory. Throughout the year, the collaboration between MOYA and De Houthallen will expand with arrangements and guided tours, along with partnerships with accommodation providers and businesses.
