Brabantpark
In the Brabantpark neighbourhood you will find two parks. The park named Brabantpark itself and the Van Koolwijkpark.
The neighbourhood of Brabantpark consists of a villa district and a so-called 'post-war reconstruction district', built after WWII to address housing shortages. One of the characteristics of these neighbourhoods is the abundance of greenery, which is also true for Brabantpark. In this area, you will find two parks: the eponymous Brabantpark and the Van Koolwijkpark.
Brabantpark features a large duck pond surrounded by spaces for walking, playing, and picnicking. The slightly smaller Van Koolwijkpark was designed in the English landscape style by Cornelis van Koolwijk, who also designed several other parks in Breda.
