Ons Oude Raadhuis is located in a rural area between the Biesbosch National Park and Breda. An ideal place to relax quietly, go on beautiful bike rides or walks. For example, book a boat tour or enjoy a day at the Efteling theme park. Breda is just a stone's throw away for a day of shopping.
Between 1835 and around 1865, the town hall was built as the municipal building of Lage and Hooge Zwaluwe and Moerdijk. At the end of the last century, it lost its function as a town hall. In 2017, Willem and Dieuwke Simonis bought the building and repurposed, restored, and renovated it into the boutique hotel it has become in 2021, making it accessible for the enjoyment of the general public once again.
