Beguinage musem

Housed in cottage 29 at the court, the Beguinage Museum gives an insight into the life of Breda’s beguines. On the ground floor, you can see a living room and kitchen like a beguine used to have. Upstairs, small set-ups highlight different aspects of beguine life.

An audio-visual programme called ‘Brides of Christ’ is also running. 

The little museum has a special Hmers-IJsebrand room. This room displays a small selection of Ger IJsebrand and Harrie Hamers’ relics collection.
