Wings for Life World Run

During the Wings for Life World Run, all participants worldwide start at the same time, 11 AM UTC (local time 1 PM). It doesn't matter if you are a professional athlete, someone who regularly runs for fun, or a complete beginner. There is no finish line. Thirty minutes after the start, the Catcher Car begins to drive. Initially at a speed of 14 km per hour, but this will gradually increase. Eventually, the Catcher Car will catch all the participants one by one. The point where you are caught is your finish.  

Want to join?
You can participate on your own using an app that activates the virtual Catcher Car, or during one of the Flagship Runs where you run together with other participants. Breda is the only city in the Netherlands with a Flagship run. The route will be announced later.

Charity
100% of all registration fees and donations go directly to research into spinal cord injuries, looking for a cure for paralysis. The motto of the run is 'Run for those who can't'.
