Whole Breda Reads Festival

With the Heel Breda Reads Festival, we kick off Heel Nederland Leest 2024! It will be an afternoon full of activities for and by readers, writers, and other people from the book industry, to celebrate the love of reading together. With workshops, lectures, meetups, music, and plenty of book tips!

During this day, there will be interviews with writers such as Frank Nellen, Nathalie Pagie, and Eva Eikhout, you will learn more about the secret recipe and the great success behind writer Lucinda Riley, you can take a photo with a green screen in your favourite book world, create your own booksleeve, or enjoy a stroll around the reading square.

After each talk, there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the authors. All books by the interviewed writers will also be available for purchase at Nieuwe Veste on this day.  

Joe Speedboot, the breakthrough novel by Tommy Wieringa, is this year's book for Heel Nederland Leest 2024. In November, you can pick up the special edition for free at Nieuwe Veste library.
