Theatre performance Tenne #2

The performance, in collaboration with Het Zunderts Toneel, at the location of care centre De Willaert, was directed by then 20-year-old third-year theatre student Maya de Weerdt, who can also be seen in Iets met Boeren – De Nieuwe Lichting. In spring 2025, Maya, once again with writer Peter Dictus, will create a second TENNE, her graduation performance at the Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg. This time, we will follow the experiences of a woman who experiences the autumn of her life as a new spring.

Once again, the audience will find themselves in the everyday life of an average care home – this time De Rijserf in Rijsbergen – and will experience the rituals of each day. From early morning to deep night. Like a corridor without end.
