Subterranean Street Society does not beat around the bush; the Danish-Dutch alternative rock band delivers raw rock with a poetic edge and has seen the whole world with their music. The trio incorporates various music styles in their songs, with clear influences of indie, folk, grunge, and rock. In 2023, they leave the tragedy behind and the band storms ahead with powerful protest songs that you simply cannot ignore. On 'God Couldn’t Save The Queen', singer Louis wonders why we still place royal families on a pedestal, and the single 'Focus On The Melody' is a frenetic garage rock track about the dying tension in modern society. This sets the tone well for the album 'BLEEP', which was released on 8th March. They performed in various venues in the spring, including Paradiso, toured through England and Indonesia, and the band was seen at the Zwarte Cross.
