Stage for stories: BredaPhoto

In the Explore Breda Store, you can discover stories of local initiatives in the form of exhibitions and other activities. Together with partners from the city, we share the Story of Breda: we are a boundless, green, and hospitable city. The content of this stage changes regularly, accommodating cultural partners as well as educational institutions. From 11 September, BredaPhoto will tell their story.

Information

During the BredaPhoto Festival, the Explore Breda Store is the perfect starting point for your festival visit. You can come here with all your questions and discover an exhibition that fits this year's theme 'Journeys'. Additionally, you'll find cool limited merchandise developed in collaboration with BredaPhoto.

Local collaboration and reuse are central to this. For example, ONS Label (a social sewing workshop) has made cases/toiletry bags from the BredaPhoto flags of 2022, and limited bags have been designed from those same flags at Use of Color in Breda. Second-hand photo frames serve as the canvas for local creator Niek Vergeer during the opening of BredaPhoto, and these will later be sold as individual items. This way, you can choose your own unique photo frame! There is also a collaboration with Jimmy Rockx, word artist, who has created creative texts within the theme 'Journeys'. These have been qualitatively screen-printed on tote bags at the Nollab screen printing company.

Ramses, a local brewery, has brewed a special beer, a BredaPhoto beer that is also sold at the Explore Breda Store. And as if that weren't enough cool products, we also have a collection of postcards from a selection of photographers participating in the festival. Plenty of items to remember your BredaPhoto visit by!
