SNAKEFEST – Kids Edition! | Charity afternoon for Stichting Herpetofauna

For the first time, the Herpetofauna Foundation is organising a special kids edition of the Snakefest Festival! It will be an unforgettable afternoon full of fun activities, such as: – Cool workshops – Animal presentations – Popcorn, candyfloss and other treats – And of course a musical touch!

Together with our youth club, the Astro Ranger Club, we are making it a spectacular and educational party. Are you between 6 and 14 years old and want to experience an awesome afternoon? For only €5, you can join & your parents/guardians can come free of charge! With your ticket, you also support the Herpetofauna Foundation. This year, the foundation is raising funds for the following charitable causes:

• Protection of the endangered Orinoco crocodile in Venezuela: This species was heavily hunted in the 19th and 20th centuries for its skin. It is estimated that there are now fewer than 3,000 mature individuals in the wild.
• Planting of mangrove forests in Kenya: Brain Youth Group is ensuring the natural restoration of mangrove forests. Thanks to this restoration, many reptiles and amphibians are saved from a path that could lead to extinction.
