This route takes you from the Mastbos along various former smuggling paths through Sprundel, Sint Willebrord, Rucphen and Schijf to Essen. The smuggling past of this region and its inhabitants will of course receive due attention along the way.

What about Geert Schrauwen, also known as the Clover Woman? He was a legendary smuggler before and during the 1st World War in and around the municipality of Rucphen.
