Kemenade and Hollaers

With his computer using eye control, Younes wrote his first poetry collection, which will be released at the end of February. Trapped in his body, suffering from an unknown illness that has taken so much from him, he still found a way to express his feelings through poetry and make his voice heard. Writing gives him strength and joy. The poems reflect his experiences, love, joy, that which cannot be physically told, and the longing to share that with the world.
 
This project revolves around the hope that someone reads his collection or hears his song and dares to take the step to search for a diagnosis together with Younes from the beginning. To find out what Younes has, what the cause is, and whether anything can be done about it. Especially to alleviate the uncertainty in his life. 
Mayor Paul Depla will receive the first copy of Younes's poetry collection on 8 March at the bookshop van Kemenade en Hollaers on Ginnekenweg in Breda.

And there will be signed copies available for purchase - entirely in his own way.
