In the kingdom of Berg en Dal, the valley lies in the shadow while the mountain enjoys plenty of sunshine. That’s just the way it is. Until the valley dweller Barrie comes up with a revelation: the mountain dwellers are stealing the sun! He claims he can get the sun back and becomes the hero of the valley. But is what he says true? POPpulisme is a funny performance with a dark edge. With four performers, live percussion, and singing.  

The absurd and incisive text by Eva Gouda is fully performed with puppets and demonstrates how manipulation works.
