Performance: 'Misschien komen we (n)ergens' at Podium Bloos
Information
‘’‘I am afraid of becoming an anecdote at a birthday party,
a cautionary tale of who you do not want to be,
that they, with a pathetic look in their eyes, whisper:
'That one? She can only dream.’’
Jasja Renne is a spoken word artist, writer, theatre maker, and actress.
A true word alchemist. Fascinated by our inner world, reasons for existence, and ways of life, she explores what connects us further and also distances us from each other. With words, she transforms feelings, thoughts, and perspectives from one into the other.
Her debut performance ‘Misschien komen we (n)ergens’ is interdisciplinary, interactive, and introspective. It takes you into the friction between internal voices and (un)spoken expectations. Those of yourself, society, and others. A performance that revolves around where spoken word and theatre meet and one essential question: ‘Who are you listening to and why?’
