A true artist naturally performs an encore! In September, Peer Verschuren played a farewell concert at Poppodium Phoenix in front of a sold-out audience. Due to the many heartwarming reactions and the requests from fans who snapped up a ticket, Peer Verschuren has decided to give one last farewell concert.
With an impressive career in the music world, in which he has demonstrated his skills as a guitarist and songwriter, Peer Verschuren leaves a lasting impression. Many will know Peer Verschuren as the guitarist of the world-famous hard rock band Vengeance, guitarist for the symphonic rock singer Lana Lane, or guest musician for master musician Erik Norlander.
In addition to original work, Peer has shown with his cover band Into The Arena that he can beautifully cover songs by bands like Deep Purple, Rainbow, Europe, Journey, and UFO.
Peer's musical journey began with his first band Badge, where he was both singer and guitarist. Many also know him from the band Highway, a legendary local pride. Peer’s talent is in high demand, having collaborated with big names in the scene, including Gregg Bissonette, Vinny Appice, Virgil Donati, Don Schiff, Ed Warby, Kelly Keeling, and Ernst van Ee.
On Saturday, 17 May, Peer Verschuren will perform one last farewell concert at Poppodium Phoenix Breda in collaboration with the team of the former Bel Air. For this evening, he will perform the legendary live album by UFO “Strangers in the Night”.
