Who still knows what true darkness is? When the sun sets, lighting should give us a sense of safety. The downside of this is light pollution and energy wastage! Humans and animals need the dark to rest and recharge. That is why the Night of the Night was created. One night to pause and reflect on the motto: 'lights out, senses on'.
More and more municipalities and companies are participating and turning off their lights that night. Join in the Night of the Night and make it a wonderful experience. On 26 October, Landgoed Wolfslaar will be open for a very special evening. In the darkness, a nature guide will lead you through the shadowy nature. How exciting is that? What flies through the night? What lurks in the bushes? How can you perceive in the dark? Do ghosts exist? Who or what lives at night? A whole world opens up for you! This night experience is special for young and old alike. IVN Mark and Donge will show you the nocturnal nature, and the Legend Hunters will take you into the world of ancient stories. All with the cooperation of Boerderij Wolfslaar and IVN Dintel and Marklanden. Moreover, at the end of this journey, a warm campfire awaits with hot chocolate and marshmallows.
