KOP organises a KOPcafé four times a year. Here, creators and audiences meet live, with the aim of informally inspiring each other, sharing knowledge, and networking. We organise KOPcafés around the themes of Participatory work in the arts, Sustainability, Art in Public Space, and Audience Interaction. And of course, not without a drink and the one and only KOP quiz!

On Friday, 16 May, the second KOPcafé will take place with the theme Art & Sustainability. This year, KOP presents the project Horizon at Best Kept Secret Festival. Horizon is an initiative where art and sustainability come together to inspire visitors and raise awareness on themes such as material usage, energy, and circular processes. In collaboration with young artists, Horizon offers artworks that encourage you to see the world differently. Think of installations that play with reuse, new ways of generating energy, and innovative ideas to reduce our impact on the planet. This project is the reason to dedicate a KOPcafé to the theme of sustainability, as we want to share all the inspiration and knowledge we discover with the artists with you.

This KOPcafé will last all day, as they will take you to a unique location that strongly emphasises ecological art and sustainability. Here, they will organise a tour and a number of inspiring speakers will share their stories. Once back in Breda, you will conclude with a drink.
