LOEV in Chassé Theater

Who likes whom? A dance performance with live music about first feelings, inspired by the often strange courtship behaviour of various animals trying to impress each other. 

The strange ‘species’ on stage do everything they can to get into each other’s sights. Playing, whistling, tooting, and strutting around they parade. One shyly and cautiously presents a feather as a gift while hopping. The other plays too rough and gets whistled back. Who impresses whom? Who mirrors whom?

A playful performance with five dancers and the Maat Saxophone Quartet about early courtship and “I-like-you” confessions in a clearing in the woods by a lake: a playground for all sorts of strange ‘birds’.
