Max Poolman is an artist from Amsterdam. In his music, he combines folk, country, and rock influences. He draws inspiration from artists like Tyler Childers, Ryan Bingham, and Justin Townes Earle. In his live performances, the audience is drawn into the show by his personal songs and raw, edgy voice.

In these shows, he alternates between intimate acoustic songs with just a guitar and a blues harmonica, and, with his band The Union, rough country rock songs that get the audience going wild.
Max was one of the most booked artists at the prestigious Dutch touring festival Popronde in 2021. His first EP, titled Bucking the Tiger, was released in 2020 and was well received and praised in the Netherlands. Max has played tons of shows across Europe; from the famous Amsterdam pop temple Paradiso to headlining at festivals. He has released several albums and has just released his new single 'Little Bit Crazy'.
