Lievense Live: Cactus Cowboys

The Cactus Cowboys (please pronounce as ‘cactus kooiboois) is a cheerful, summery duo from the ‘deep south’ (of the Netherlands, in this case) that, with the help of double bass, banjo, and vocal ‘singing’ parts, mainly sings about the fun things in life. Such as beer, beautiful girls, short skirts, and even more beer, all together leading to unrestrained fun and joyful entertainment. Their profound lyrics (feel free to say: to the bottom… of the glass) they chant loudly and boldly on a musical bed of rock-a-billy, rock ‘n’ roll, skiffle, and pop. By the way, they don’t forget their roots, as they also effortlessly put their spin on a classic by Zangeres Zonder Naam called ‘Het Was Aan De Costa Del Sol.’ Cheers!
