A small nature reserve, situated between highways and railway lines, but very important as a link in the Nature Network Brabant. The former estate connects various nature areas with each other, creating a pathway through which animals can safely move from one area to another.In 2017, thanks to the Land Use Plan Weerijs Zuid, a 40-hectare agricultural area on the eastern side of the Aa of Weerijs was acquired by Brabants Landschap. It has been designed with ponds, wooded borders, alders, and pollarded willows, thus fitting beautifully into the patchwork landscape of the estate.&nbsp;On the sides of the river Aa of Weerijs, the landscape is full of variety. Forests and meadows, peat bogs and a small river, spring water, it has it all.Add to this differences in height and soil compositions, and it is clear that this is a rich area for plants and birds. Registration is possible up until the day of the walk. After registering, you will receive information about the departure location.
