In Lanthimos' second English-language film after "The Lobster," Barry Keoghan plays a terrifying teenager named Martin, who holds surgeon Steven (Colin Farrell), married to Anna (Nicole Kidman), responsible for his father's death on the operating table. However, Martin's revenge is anything but ordinary, leading to a curious mix of absurdism, arthouse, and horror that becomes increasingly tense as it approaches the end.
