<strong>By Willem Joosse</strong><br> "For 50 years now, I have been fascinated by the photographic representation of reality.

I often seek out surreal images that transcend reality and evoke a sense of surprise and alienation.

I discover my images while wandering with the camera and allow myself to be surprised by what I encounter by chance.

In addition, I also make use of manipulation with Photoshop and (recently also AI) to let the found images tell my story.

For 50 years, Willem Joosse has been exploring the photographic depiction of reality. His images balance on the edge of reality and surrealism, where he plays with surprise and alienation.
