Dirt Road Café: Julie Lena & Mendomusic

Dirt Road Spirit (also known for the popular Honky Tonk nights across the Netherlands) and Café Lievense have joined forces to organise Dirt Road Cafe. This will be an evening full of authentic country music and live performances!

Julie Lena is a talented artist who focuses on country/pop music. She has collaborated with Jay Van Leeuwen on her first single, which is set to be released soon, and she is very excited to share this with her fans.

Mendomusic was born out of a love for the folk and country genre: while driving through the mountains and listening to songs as thoughts about life wander. The name Mendo was coined by his friends during his early skateboarding years and has always stuck. Once he grew up, Mendo joined the army and that's where he started writing music.

During leave, Mendo and his friends decided to spontaneously create a home studio and record his songs. Mendomusic was born. His music is a fusion of Americana, folk, and country, in which he brings his singing to life. His raw, powerful bass voice reveals a nuanced sound rich in warm emotions.
