Course Film History: New Hollywood (1960s-1970s) at Filmhuis Breda

In this third session of the film history course, Pieternel van Keijzerswaard focuses on the rise of New Hollywood. She also discusses the most popular genres and the latest filmmaking techniques from this era. You will watch the film Jaws (1975) by Steven Spielberg.

Film teacher Pieternel van Keijzerswaard (1982) studied film and theatre studies as well as Dutch language and literature at the University of Antwerp. She is interested in the interplay between iconic films from the twentieth century and cultural and social backgrounds.
