Celebrate the Christmas holiday at Stedelijk Museum Breda!&nbsp;The atmosphere in the museum is magical. From 21 December to 5 January, there are many fun activities for young and old alike.
 

Warm chocolate &amp; winter tea on the patio
This Christmas holiday, we have a delightful winter stall on our patio, where you can enjoy hot chocolate and winter tea. The winter stall is open from Tuesday 24 December to Sunday 5 January. Make your museum visit the best outing of the Christmas holiday!

Get crafty in our Christmas village
Create your own unique Christmas house and give it a lovely colour. There’s a crafting table in our museum café where you can get creative! Help build our Christmas village and find a special spot for your house under the Christmas tree. Tip: Also available during the children's Christmas weekend on 14 and 15 December.

Christmas film: The Snowman
Enjoy the Christmas classic The Snowman (1982) together. The animated film tells the story of a boy who builds a snowman on Christmas Eve. Together they travel to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus. Tip: Also available during the children's Christmas weekend on 14 and 15 December.

* Family Trail The Nassaus of Breda: 
Thanks to the Family Trail, you will learn all about the significant history of Breda in a playful way – a treasure hunt through the exhibition The Nassaus of Breda. At 13 points in the exhibition, there are stops, places where you experience, do, and learn something. With the special stamp card, you will also collect the city residents who will enlighten you about their lives. This way, you will learn more about the influential Nassaus and how they lived their lives. You will get an insight into what Breda looked like in the past and, of course, discover more about the trick with the Turfship. Tip: Also available during the children's Christmas weekend on 14 and 15 December.

* Family Trail Ambition &amp; Desire: 
In the exhibition Ambition &amp; Desire, you will learn all about Breda in the 19th century. This exhibition is also truly worthwhile for young visitors (6+). Play the RaRaRa game and challenge your brain. Discover what ordinary objects were once used for that we no longer know today. We will come up with solutions for problems here and test your inventiveness! Tip: Also available during the children's Christmas weekend on 14 and 15 December.

Wander/Wonder:
As the first museum, we are introducing a completely new way to experience art: no traditional audio tour, but a groundbreaking audio experience. Specially developed by artist and philosopher Annemijn Rijk for the exhibition Soulmates, this unique experience allows you to encounter art on a deeper, physical level.

Guided tours:
Get acquainted with the intriguing family history of the Orange-Nassaus, the current royal house, in The Nassaus of Breda, and feel connected to the powerful yet vulnerable images of leading photographers in Soulmates. These free guided tours are the perfect complement to your museum visit, with the most exciting and interesting stories told by our museum educators.
