BredaPhoto is the largest photography festival in the Benelux and takes place every two years in Breda.

From old industrial buildings and churches to residential homes, parks, and the rugged, newly developed area ’t Zoet: BredaPhoto is transforming the city of Breda into a large stage for photography and video art this autumn. For more than seven weeks, international top photographers will showcase their vision on the theme Journeys alongside young talents.

The journey is a metaphor for the developments everyone experiences in life that can turn everything upside down. Sometimes this is a literal physical journey, in search of a new home and freedom, but often it is also psychological or spiritual, a quest for your own identity or a new life purpose. With these stories, the artists of the BredaPhoto Festival aim to inspire you, perhaps to help you find a new path yourself.
