Breda Grind 2025: Serrabulho + Bluewaffle Sauerkraut + Rectum Stretchers

Grindcore is an extreme variant of thrash metal and raw hardcore punk. It is related to death metal and crustcore and emerged around 1985/1986. This is already the second edition of Breda Grind, which is entirely dedicated to this music genre!

With fitting pride and a big celebration, we present three acts considered among the biggest names in the scene, with roots in Breda!

Serrabulho
Foam parties, making popcorn, traditional music, musical chairs, cheerleaders, bagpipes, gigantic circle pits, hard techno, superheroes, soap bubbles, congas, and cosplay – that is Serrabulho.

You will certainly not remain indifferent to the performance of these four outsiders! Their live shows are a snowball of emotions. Get ready to dance AND laugh! They have played in 18 countries and appeared at numerous European festivals, where their shows became legendary thanks to their chaotic nature and ability to get the audience moving!

Bluewaffle Sauerkraut
Bluewaffle Sauerkraut is a groovy goregrind band from North Brabant! Expect lots of bananas.

Rectum Stretchers
Rectum Stretchers is a goregrind band with members aged between 16 and 18 from Dordrecht and Papendrecht, who create brutal goregrind and can throw a good party while doing so. Inspired by bands like Macabre, Gronibard, and Rompeprop, they deliver a great mix of the thickest groovy riffs, hard breakdowns, fast blast beats, and gore pitch-shifting vocals.

The band plays with fun and conviction and knows how to effortlessly get a venue to join in. They also competed in the grand prize of Dordrecht in 2023, winning second place and the audience award! So put on your party hat and make it a fun celebration! Cover photo by photographer Tirtzah Bego
