Brant Bjork Trio in MEZZ

Brant Bjork is a pioneer of Californian desert rock and has written over a quarter-century of music history. As the founder and composer of the legendary band Kyuss and as the driving force behind the fuzz sounds of Fu Manchu in the '90s and early 2000s, he has laid the foundations for what we now know as the desert rock scene. But aside from his work in these iconic bands, Brant Bjork has built his own solo career, expanding his vision as a singer, guitarist, composer, and bandleader.

Now he presents his latest project: Brant Bjork Trio. The trio consists of Bjork himself, drummer Mike Amster, and bassist Mario Lalli, an old friend and colleague from the desert rock scene (known from Fatso Jetson, Yawning Man, and Desert Sessions). Together they bring fresh energy and the recognizable desert sounds to the stage. The trio's debut album, ‘Once Upon a Time in the Desert’, marks not only a new musical direction but also the relaunch of Brant Bjork's own label, DUNA RECORDS. With an unmistakable signature in both the riff and the groove, Brant Bjork remains a driven artist who continues to push his boundaries.

In 2025, the trio will tour through Europe, Australia, Japan, and the USA, continuing to present desert rock to a new audience while enchanting existing fans once again. Expect an evening full of raw, psychedelic rock with deep desert roots. Brant Bjork Trio is ready to continue writing the legend.
