Lovers of brass band music can indulge their passion during the election of the carnival song, once the battle song of the reconquest of Breda. But this year, not only brass bands will showcase their musical talent. A variety of participants will take to the stage of the Mezz and compete musically against each other. Who can bellow the best?

Traditionally, the winner will parade through the city during the entry of the Prince on carnival Saturday. The winner is determined by a professional jury. Additionally, there is also a public prize, allowing visitors to cast their votes using the Kielegat App.

The doors will open at 18:41. The Bleerfeest will be officially opened at 19:41 by the royalty of ut Kielegat. The first participant is scheduled to start at 20:00.

This year, the Bleerfeest will have an extra festive touch, not only because of the 88th anniversary of the Foundation but also because this brass band celebration has been around for an impressive 5×11 years! In addition to fresh new songs inspired by the motto Giftur un slinger aon, there will also be nostalgic classics to enjoy that evening.&nbsp;
