BLASt architecture movie night: Architecton

On Wednesday evening, 30 April, BLASt, in collaboration with Filmhuis Breda, will host an evening featuring an inspiring architecture film followed by a discussion.

The film chosen is “Architecton” by Viktor Kossakovsky. The film received a nomination for a Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival in 2024.

This film will have its national premiere in film houses from 1 May, with Filmhuis Breda having the unique opportunity to present a sneak preview!

Apart from water, concrete is the most widely used material in the world, as stated by Viktor Kossakovsky in Architecton. With this observation, he conceptually links the conclusion of his ‘A-trilogy’ to the second part, the water documentary Aquarela (2018), which followed ¡Vivan las antipodas! (2011).
