Belcrum Bios: A wonderful lack

Even the master seducer Casanova had a first, great love. In this true story, based on the novel by Arthur Japin, we see how Giacomo Casanova falls for Lucia. They want to build a life together, but while Giacomo is on a business trip, Lucia is struck down by smallpox. Her face is disfigured, and she shuts herself off from the outside world, including her great love. Sixteen years later, they meet again in Amsterdam. But because Lucia is wearing a veil, Giacomo doesn't recognise her. Still, they start to grow close to each other again. Will she dare to reveal her true identity?
