After a sold-out first edition, it's time for a second 80s New Wave Night. This time with the mysterious sounds of The Cult and dark songs from Sisters of Mercy! Let yourself be transported to the underground 80s with tribute bands Pure Kult and Mistress of Jersey! Once again, DJ VIX and DJ CO2 will ensure the best new wave tracks to end the evening. So; put on your black boots, tease your hair and get ready to dance! 

PURE KULT – The Cult Tribute Band The Cult dominated the English new wave scene of the 80s with post-punk to hard rock revival infused with psychedelic influences. With their sounds, they delved deep into the world of the mystical and ancient cultures. Pure Kult, from Belgium, now brings you the best work of The Cult! The unique voice of singer Ian Astbury is effortlessly carried by singer Bart, and the beautiful guitar riffs of Billy Duffy are seamlessly and passionately played by Joeri. Supported by a tight and solid rhythmic tandem, you are offered a Cult experience to remember. The hits and more obscure works are perfectly mixed. Even if you don’t know many songs by The Cult, you will surely listen to them after seeing Pure Kult. The Cult guitarist Billy Duffy said after watching live clips of Pure Kult: “Possibly better than we could do it hahahahha he’s got the guitar sound bang on and the right chord shapes, the singer really sounds like a young Astbury especially during the verses!” 
 
THE MISTRESS OF JERSEY – Sisters of Mercy Tribute Band When you say dark underground 80s, you say Sisters of Mercy! The group ‘The Mistress of Jersey’ is a tribute band from Ghent, formed to bring back the heyday of The Sisters of Mercy! They play the best of the Sisters, from the early days to the release of the iconic album ‘First and Last and Always’ and the band’s split in ’85, and do so in the style of the performances from 1984-1985. Think of the ‘Black October‘ and ‘Tune in, turn on, burn out’ tours, and you know what to expect. The Sisters of old are no more, but the sound of that time still makes many hearts race. 
 
DJ CO2 &amp; DJ VIX – The best new wave tracks! DJ CO2 &amp; DJ VIX will bracket the evening with an arsenal of new wave hits and will keep your feet moving on the dance floor after the bands. Expect music from bands like Killing Joke, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Talking Heads and more! Of course, there is also room for that one request, and perhaps they will even play a track from The Cult or Sisters of Mercy afterwards!
