Brand Parkies starts this year on Tuesday, July 9th, and will take place every Tuesday until Tuesday, August 13. A summer full of fun! But what is there to do before Brand Parkies starts? Here are some tips so you and your friends can have a great start to your Tuesday evening!
Picnic in the park
To ensure you have a good home base during Brand Parkies, you can bring some food to the park in advance! At 19:00 the bands will start warming up, so the park can get quite crowded by then. The real party starts at 20:00, so having a home base where you can leave your bag is always handy.
Drinks at T-Huis
If you want to relax in a comfortable chair before spending the whole evening sitting or standing on a blanket, enjoy a drink and a snack at T-Huis before the concerts start!
Fancy a pizza?
There are various pizzerias and other tasty restaurants around Valkenberg Park where you can get takeaway food. Girasole is a five-minute walk away. If you can't decide what to get, head to the Foodhall where they have everything! If you feel like sitting down for a bit, you can always stroll into the city centre to find a terrace.

The city centre
Even after Brand Parkies, the atmosphere in the centre of Breda is still alive! The party continues in Vismarktstraat, Torenstraat, and Visserstraat. You can also head to the harbour, where it's always lively and not even a five-minute walk from the park.
Spinola Silent Disco
Do you and your friends have different music tastes? And couldn't decide on which stage to be at Brand Parkies? Seize your chance at Spinola. A silent disco where you can turn on your own transmitter. Will you take turns? Or will everyone play their own music?
