From old factories and churches to houses, parks, and the new area 't Zoet: BredaPhoto is turning the city of Breda into a major stage for photo and video art this autumn. 

't Zoet. The old CSM site where two gigantic towers once stood and sugar was produced. Most people know it from the letters ‘IK GA VIA BREDA’. This year during Kings Day, the old sugar beet pit serves as the backdrop for Oranje Zoet - The Kingsday Rave.

If you say "Ascension" in Breda, you say "Jazz Festival", which has become an integral part of the city after more than fifty editions. Local and international artists and a quarter of a million visitors from all over the globe find our hospitable city every year. Old style, modern or related styles; the festival offers it all.

The festival where orchestras take the stage. The annual Spanjaardsgat Orkestfestival is a festival for orchestras and large bands. Everyone is welcome, as long as we're talking about a large musical ensemble with at least 20 participating musicians.

Breda Barst is the pop festival for everyone. Every year in the third weekend of September, Breda Barst organises a weekend full of music and fun in Valkenberg Park. Expect big Dutch artists, emerging talent, delicious food, fun activities, and a relaxed atmosphere. At Breda Barst, you'll encounter all styles of music from pop and rock to metal, and from punk and electro to hip-hop and dance.

On 14 September, the seventh edition of Hartje Ginneken takes place. After a number of incredibly successful editions, the cosiest neighbourhood party in Ginneken is back.
