Everyone deserves the chance to play sports.

From Monday 20 January to Friday 28 February, a container will be available at five locations in Breda where you can drop off your (old) sports equipment and clothing.&nbsp;

The drop-off locations are:

<li>De Kragt (Terheijdenseweg 416)</li>
<li>Municipal Sports Centre De Scharen (Bijster 1)</li>
<li>Jeugdland (Jeugdland 1, Ulvenhout)</li>
<li>De Drie Linden (Heisprong 15, Prinsenbeek)</li>
<li>Charlotte's Garden House at Farm Wolfslaar (Wolfslaardreef 95).</li>
</ul>

This is what happens to your sports equipment The collection campaign is for the sports equipment market on Saturday 8 March at De Kragt. Residents of Breda who can claim the Adult Fund for Sports &amp; Culture or the Youth Fund for Sports &amp; Culture are invited to participate. In short: residents who are not well off.&nbsp; If you have a BredaPas or are using one of the funds, you will receive an invitation.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Drop-off: how does it work? Do you want to drop off (old) sports equipment? That's great!&nbsp;

Make sure that sports clothing and shoes are:

<li>whole</li>
<li>wearable&nbsp;</li>
<li>shoes tied together</li>
<li>complete</li>
<li>presentable&nbsp;</li>
<li>safe to use&nbsp;</li>
</ul>

With your (old) sports equipment, you can make many other residents of Breda happy.

The sports equipment market is a collaboration between the Municipality of Breda, Youth Fund for Sports &amp; Culture Breda, Adult Fund for Sports &amp; Culture, Breda Actief, and Stichting Quiet.

 

The locations are open during the week; Charlotte's Garden House is also open on weekends. The sports locations are open on weekends if sports activities are scheduled.

Does your sports clothing no longer fit? Have the kids outgrown their football boots? Or is the basketball no longer being used? Don't throw these items away, but give them a second chance! With your (old) sports gear, you can make Breda residents happy who are less well off.
