On Sunday 29 December, the nature guides of IVN Mark &amp; Donge will be out on their annual quest for blooming plants in winter. 
While lugging your Christmas shopping, you might suddenly spot a beautiful, delicate pink flower peeking out from between the stones of a messy parking lot: the Robert's herb. Even during the darkest days of the year, you might be treated to a little daisy, as the daisy is also known. Every now and then, in the middle of a winter day, a whole world opens up for you.
 This year, Floron, Botanical Research Netherlands, is organising the end-of-year plant hunt for the eleventh time. Everywhere in the Netherlands, plant enthusiasts are searching for blooming plants. They are curious about how many different plants are still in bloom and which blooming plant is the most commonly seen. IVN Mark &amp; Donge has been participating in this for years.
They expect to find quite a few this winter. This includes species that can extend their blooming period due to the absence of serious night frosts, or species that are blooming all year round. If the weather cooperates, spring bloomers may already show up in sunny and sheltered spots.

Registration is possible up to the day of the walk. After registering, you will receive information about the meeting point.
 The walk starts at 13:30 and lasts until approximately 15:30.
