The world-famous ensemble Cappella Pratensis and organist Rob Nederlof present a Renaissance Christmas programme. This concert transports the audience back to 1545, the time of Emperor Charles V. The programme highlights the organ music of Thomas Crecquillon and Antonio de Cabezón, and features the 'Missa Fit porta Christi pervia' by Jheronimus Vinders and the Christmas carol ‘Nu Sijt Willecome’, allowing listeners to experience the historical grandeur of a 16th-century Christmas celebration.To enhance the Christmas atmosphere, the Nieuwe Veste Christmas Choir will perform at 19:15 in the Cultural Markthal.
