Ice skating

From 13 December, you can skate again on the Grote Markt or enjoy a bite to eat and a drink at the Wintertaverne. In addition to skating fun, various activities will be organised during these weeks for young and old.

Ice skating on the Grote Markt in Breda

On 13 December, the ice rink will open at the Grote Markt in Breda. A festive place in the city centre to skate on the ice with family, friends, and relatives under cover.

Until 5 January, a variety of events will be organised at the ice rink, as well as in the hospitality section of the ice rink, the Wintertaverne. Think of fairy-tale skating for children or a Silent Disco in the evening hours. Keep an eye on this page for all the information regarding the ice rink and the Wintertaverne.

Around the Grote Markt, you can soon enjoy the winter atmosphere at various locations. Skate a lap on the ice rink at the Grote Markt, warm up at the Wintertaverne, or enjoy a bite and drink at one of the covered winter terraces. Are you looking for a place to park? PLEASE NOTE: from 29 November, the first winter terraces will be open, and from 13 December, the ice rink and Wintertaverne will open.
