Spring break in Breda

A day in Breda is always a good idea. Especially now that the hospitality industry is completely open and we can warmly welcome you back to our vibrant city. Do you need inspiration for your day in Breda? Here you'll find tips!

Hospitality is inextricably linked to Breda – you can't overlook that – but Breda has so much more to offer. It’s a fantastic city for shopping with beautiful shops and lovely boutiques, but if you love culture, you can indulge yourself here as well. The remnants of Breda’s rich (Nassau) history can still be found everywhere.

    Stek

A place you don't just walk by, a hidden gem in Breda: Stek. Stek is a breeding ground for creative entrepreneurs in the rugged Havenkwartier. Here you will find small innovative companies and Radio Pannenkoek, where you can go for – of course – a pancake, but also other snacks and drinks.
Tip: Great to walk to during the day. You can also take a look at PIER15 which is a little further on. The hotspot for skaters, but you can also enjoy a nice craft beer on the terrace here.

Read here what there is to do at STEK.

    Stedelijk Museum

Would you like to immerse yourself in culture in Breda? Great! Stedelijk Museum Breda is a must-visit during your stay in Breda. Centuries of Breda's history and art are summarised in one museum. At the moment, there are several exhibitions on display in the museum.

No idea what you want to eat or just can't choose? Then head to the FoodHall in Breda! Here you'll find cuisines from all over the world, all under one roof. Handy for a quick lunch or a bite to eat. Extra fun: the FoodHall is located in the old cinema.
